I, also, have no first hand knowledge -- though I have second hand knowledge from what I consider two very respected and knowledgeable sources. That is why I couched my statement with "it is my understanding". I have no dog in the hunt, would only like to know the truth.

I think it would be appropriate if, perhaps, Rob Maier and/or Bill Minser would clarify for all.

I know others beyond myself and, apparently, Jeb have heard various reports reflecting poorly on the circumstances. I know others have also planned to not attend the Labor Day tourney on objection. It would be most unfortunate if any of us did so based on bad information.

Thus, I think it imperative that an explanation is provided -- in fairness to everyone; most of all to Rob if various reports which have circulated are inaccurate.
