ABT events on the same weekend

I would love to see many regional tournaments. I don't think the community is to the point where that would work for the ABT. What probably could work currently is regional one-day tournaments, or possibly just Sat/Sun. These would likely be 16 player events in most areas, more around the bigger cities. I think you could see good attendance at several on the same day, if they were not too close together. I think you would see a slight drop in ABT attendance.

If we tripled the number of ABT events, often having two on the same weekend, I think you would see total attendance rise, but average attendance drop. This might well be a better model, provided there is a way to make the events profitable.
