Rather than spitting out the reasons which I'm sure someone else will do, I will recommend to you playing this position out time and time and time and time and time and time and time and time and again until you have a solid grip on where White's counter play comes from and how he wins so often. You should also note when playing it out the the difference in gammons lost/won is not that great.

If you follow my suggestion a final step in this exercise would be for you to come back here and tell us why it's a take.
