Magriel's criteria don't all point in the same direction here so you have to look deeper. White does have a four-point board but Blue is behind in the race and has an anchor, and the latter point to a bold play. Hitting could lead to a big advantage, and even if you're hit back it's not the end of the world. I'd try hitting here.
