Sebastiaan's observation seems correct to me. Changing the score changes the problem. At 3a3a, the recube is a take because gammons don't matter, White wins 29% according to the evaluation, and his take point is 25%. In a money game, if the cubeless (i.e., no recube) game breakdown is:
W G BG L G BG .7108 .1910 .0063 .2892 .0624 .0018 Then the cubeless equity is 0.5547, or 1.1094 points on a 2-cube. So, it is only because White changes those results in his favor because he owns the cube that White has a money game take. White can win with a double/pass after a hit or after pulling ahead in the race. Or win after a redouble/take, which doesn't change the cubeless chance of winning much (it actually lowers White's GWC because of the potential redouble/pass to 8), but does roughly double the net equity for White in those variations.
