Constructively, your analysis reads like a shopping list. You've itemised IYO the key elements and the "emotional spike" in the evaluative process is: "...and rates to get worse while White rates to marginally inprove". Everyone on the planet (including the very best players in the world) is susceptible to emotion in the decision-making process. The main difference between players is that some have a larger repertoire of coping strategies than others, C'est le vie.
Here's a breakdown of your analysis:
Pro's & Con's
Pro - Blue leads in the race
Pro - blue has the barpt
Pro - White has 2 empty points
Con - has fewer spares
Pro, Con? - has the worse anchor
Pro, Con? - may leave 2 blots
Pro, Con? - ***rates to get worse while white marginally better***
Fron the text, your own breahdown reads 4:3 in fav of 17/10
As a crude measure for estimating the differential I'll give a 1 for each Pro and 1 for each Con and .5 for each Pro/Con.
Firstly, your breakdown: 4:3 would indicate a 0.01 diff (moved the dec) between the 2 plays.
My interpretation reads 4.5:2.5; a 0.02 diff in fav of 8/6 8/3.
In reality, combining both yield a diff of 0.03. Curious as to what the ROLLOUT will show!
NB. feel free to rip into me anytime, lol. I love it!!!
