Perhaps I should have said originally: I'm finding it difficult to quantify looking 2-ply ahead here because of all the bold/safe, blot/no-blot fan/enter/hit possibilities -- there are wins and losses after all of them -- so here's my "shopping list" of items that seem to me all to argue for playing 17/10* now.
