I don't have a good feeling for this because the bots don't give us this information, but yes, I think so. There are lots of ways a backgame can generate a takable recube. Sometimes the backgamer can redouble before hitting. Sometimes it's still a take after the hit. The latter seems more likely here, given that Blue will probably have a lot of checkers back. It's not like a holding game where the holder often just has one chance to hit a shot and then cashes if he hits.
