This is tough. Getting our back checkers out seems obvious. Making the bar point, though not as useful given that Stick has our 5 pt., looks like it gives us a safe place to land our 13 and 14 pt checkers. But this is illusory since those points are stripped and the only safe way to move relies on doubles. I imagine that 20/8(2) is very close (maybe better). It completely gets our back checkers around and gives us a chance to slowly and safely strip our 13 pt moving two of those checkers safely around. That would leave us with just two awkward checkers later than having four awkward checkers sooner. That said, well, I don't know. I've almost convinced myself that 20/8 is better. I might be overestimating the timing problem with 20/14 13/7 and it seems more thematic somehow, so when in doubt I go with what looks more backgammonly.
