1. This looks vaguely familiar...was there a similar position posted here not long ago? It's gammon save so we would normally want to minimize shots and blots; that would suggest 8/6 8/5. However, 13/8 looks much more flexible. White can hit our outfield blot with 66 63 54 33; however, 66 and 33 are disastrous anyway, and 63 is pretty bad too. I'll go with 13/8.
2. DMP with a big race lead. The only play that leaves no shots is the ugly 6/5 6/4. The only real alternative I see is 5/2*. Tough call. White's board is still not quite made yet so getting hit back after 5/2* still leaves us with some life after death, whereas 6/5 6/4 still leaves us with a lot of trouble clearing our outside points. I'll try 5/2*.
3. How did this arise? 43D-62H-65C-62? It's tempting to hit and exploit the duplication of 4's, but being ahead in the race I'll try consolidating. 24/16.
