1. If Blue doubles, his gammon value will be reduced. White should have some shot potential because Blue's 11pt is not so easy to clear and Blue has dead checkers. I think White should be able to take this. Not so sure about the double. A hit will usually lose Blue's market, I think. RD/T.

2. We can't make the bar because the 20pt takes priority. So 24/20 and then I think 6/4(2) should be best despite all those shots White has on our bar point. We'll get plenty of return shots usually if White hits.

3. Difficult. 20/17* 6/4 gives White 19 return shots, many of which I think lead to a gammon because of Blue's two blots. But if White doesn't hit back then Blue will usually have a single or a double shot at a second blot. I think 20/17* 6/4 will win more often. The other thing to consider is that Blue may be forced to run next time anyway if he plays 6/1 now. But his gammon danger will probably be lower in that case. Not at all sure but I guess I chicken out with 6/1.
