Grunch. The race is 156:142, after moving Blue is trailing by 10 pips. Blue is outboarded 2:1 and holds the defensive 2 point, whereas White has splitted to the 4 point.

White has improved in the offense with four blocking points and 10 men in the same primefield. The defect lies in the double hole on 21/20. Comparing the men in the zone and their possible primefield membership, there is a clear disadvantage for blue. Time is on the side of White. Counterpriming will be to lame.

White has several threats: making another blocking point, making an advanced anchor, running a man to safety or simply abandon the midpoint, adding new troops to the zone.

Blue can’t even split to make an attempt playing against to be fixed.

Comparing, how 61 41 31 21 and 66 play after hitting on the guff or making the bar, i would hit.

We also steal have a half move. And if we are hit, we have at least a split from the roof to make an advanced anchor. That is a point we want to own. Temporizing to hold this door open: therefore i would hit on the guff.

6/1*.
