I'd hit three and come up. Maybe Opp won't redouble. Maybe he'll roll 1-1 ;- But hit 3 and slot seems ok too -- if/when Opp enters 1 checker, we save a half a roll of timing to play the two outfield checkers waiting for Opp to enter and break. Hitting fewer than two should transpose, at best, since we'll probably want to hit the other one or two checkers so Opp can't play them while waiting to escape after entering.

But I wouldn't take after any play.
