On anything less than 10 secs/move, I recommend a fast bafflebox to be used without cups. No cocked dice, no dice on the floor, no accusing looks at the opponent for not shaking his dice.

I've played a number of speed games like this, in Swiss-style tournaments where we used to total remaining bank time as adjustment/tiebreaker (highly recommended BTW, you get an advantage for playing fast).

In 4 point games with 3 minutes + 10 secs/move, I played 6 consecutive games without spending a single second of bank time.

If you use a bafflebox that's well constructed for this purpose, you could play 8 secs/move, still without using any bank time. You easily shave of one sec/move using the box instead of cups, maybe more.
