I would not mind playing safe again, but would want to go through the 3 point and not to the 2 point, and avoid double slots here. No play is available that does all this. With a 41 I'd likely play 8/3 rather than 20/15 though.

20/16 5/3 is also a reasonable play with the 42, but less effective on immediate hit and return hit scenarios. Let's keep things simple and bring the checker out all the way, connecting it with the mid point and 8 point.
