This looks like a position where Blue should go all out to prevent White from making the 3pt. Blue needs to do that while his block is still intact. Otherwise, White will shift into a well-timed backgame where he owns the 1pt 3pt and 4pt. For Blue, that means hitting on the 3pt now, either with 5/3* or 6/3*. In case White hits back, it is unlikely that he will be able to prevent Blues escape. The delay, in fact, may improve Blues timing. In case White misses the shot, Blue can continue attacking in his home board.
If that analysis is right, then the decision is which point to give up: the 5pt or the 6pt. Although I hesitate to make the 2pt, almost by default that is my choice. The only other hitting alternative I see leaves 3 blots: 11/9 6/3*. Furthermore, by retaining the 6pt, Blue holds onto the best block available, a broken five-point prime extending from his 6pt to the 11pt.
5/3* 5/2
