Depending on how well factored your application is, leveraging something like boinc might not be a large investment. IF XG had an api that could be written against distributing and managing the results of rollout could likely be managed in a manner similar to applications like seti@home.

Opening the api to us junkies, could make xg even more irresistable ;)
