I think making the 5pt is the "backwards" play and 13/5 is the "forwards" play. If we're trying to win going forwards then keeping blocking points is more valuable than building our board, and vice versa.

With 2 high anchors and the 4pt made, there are enough forward-winning chances to make the forwards plan viable.
