In Response To: The QF is there's no QF (Stick)

After reading another six times, I think a better translation is this:

22/13 is better than 13/9 6/1 because you don't have the timing to wait on the 22pt for a shot.

I see that now.

As for how often 6/1 or 5/1 is right, it could be that my experience is skewed, but I've definitely been dinged more than once for not playing such a move in roughly analogous situations.
