1. We can't bust White's timing so I think we should focus on clearing tough points. The 7pt and 8pt are tough to clear. I'll try 7/5(2) 10/6. The spares on the 5pt should give us 4's to play and the 11pt should give us 6's to play as we wait for a roll that clears the 8pt. We might have to leave a blot on the 11pt at some point but at least it's not a direct shot.

2. I'd play bar/21 6/5. I don't think we lose all that much with this play when White rolls a 3 because her 3's are pretty good anyway, and she still has a blot in her board. And of course the potential upside of making the 5pt is sweet.

3. Ahead in the race, I'd just try to get my checkers around. 23/21 18/16 13/11(2).
