If Tournament Is Running Behind Schedule

If a tournament is running behind schedule, some directors are so out of it that they do not even realize it and do not seem to care.

If a tournament is running behind schedule, let's give the players less time on the clock. Announce this policy ahead of time.

If a tournament is running behind scheulde, let's require a couple of players to play for one hour during dinner break, still giving them an hour to eat. These guys would probably prefer to have a shorter dinner break than have to play an extra hour past midnight. Also, better to have two guys play an hour during dinner break than to have many guys play an extra hour past midnight

And then, there are some directors who are never behind schedule because they have no schedule.
