1. I think Mr Majestyk is advocating bar/21 24/22 23/21, trying to win going forwards. Anyway, before reading what he said, I favored bar/21 24/22 13/9*, but as I stare at the position further, I think that Mr Majestyk's play has the best timing and is therefore probably best.

2. I'm concerned about getting hit, because that seems to be the biggest weakness in our otherwise strong position. 16/10(2) 13/7(2) looks thematic, racing while ahead in the race, but I think White will hit with any 4 as well as 62. That makes me want to play 7/1*(2) to cut down on the shots, and also get that guard out of our hair. After 7/1*(2), we could consider 13/7(2), but 16/10(2) looks better.

3. Not needing a gammon, I prefer the safe bar/20 9/8 to hitting with bar/24* 23/18.
