1. 24/18 5/4

If I make the 18 can I slot the 7? 15 rolls hit the 7 if I slot, but if I have the bar I am favoured to roll onto a 4 point board (someone should inform my dice). I would have timing position and threats.

That said It's post crawford and all I need to do is win. 6/5 is so ugly. 5/4 is 11 directs plus 11, 22, 31 (14 shots) better than 8/7 with the kicker of unstacking the 5. hmm. Or I could play 13/7 8/7 and make a 4 prime leaving 2 blots.

2. 24/23 5/4 6/4

I've been watching falafel play lately and although it's screwing with my head… 24/23 5/4 6/4 just looks right. White needs 2- 2's and 2'6's to escape. If white hits he is liable to have 3 back before he can close. Blue has 2 escaping number and lots of covers for the 6 prime.

3. Bar/21 8/4(2) 10/6

I'm fairly certain bar/21 is correct. So the choice is blocking 6's or making the 4 point, with the straggler going to the 6. unless hitting on the 1 is correct but I'll ignore it.

Making the second point in the home board in front of the advanced blot seems like a more important asset at this moment in the game. Although it strips the 8 it does leave the midpoint intact and we have a spare back on the 21 to play out. I'd almost rather play 6/2 than 10/6 but blue is winning the race and getting hit would lose the advantage.
