I would have cubed for sure at this score. The take/drop decision would have been difficult. After having cubed I stay back for sure with the 65 and I'd have played 5, 4 OtB. I don't want to let him off the hook in the gammons lost by running especially when I'm not an overwhelming favorite when I do run. Yes, all my back men are escaped and he's hitched in on our bar point but it's a very meager racing lead. 7 pips with our opponent on roll and him having the worse of the distribution for a race. It's not hard to estimate our winning chances and gammon chances accurately after the running play.
