With 2 blots exposed in XG’s inner board, I don’t see any need to clear our midpoint blot. Leave it where it is. It is true that we trail by only 9 pips, but I think the harrassing value of staying outweighs the cost of losing ground when XG rolls 11 or 21.

If we are hit, our return shots might come on 1s and 3s. Let’s try to avoid duplicating those numbers as cover numbers in our home board. As well, let’s split or abandon the bar point, so that we have 3 different cover numbers on our side.

Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to avoid duplicating either the 1 or the 3, so I’m going to choose to duplicate the 3. That’s because XG will prefer to cover its 3pt before it covers its 1pt.

7/6, 7/5
