61, depending on cube position

This is a really instructive position, and I have had a look at it on XG because I had no idea which play actually wins the most games i.e. at dmp.

This is an aspect of the game I struggle with but my thoughts fwtw:

When you don't own the cube, you can never cube out, so you have to clawback those wins that you might get from cubing out by using winning plays. Conversely, you do not want to make plays that get your opponent into d/p territory.

When you do own the cube, he can never cube you out, so you can tend to make plays where sequences therefrom would otherwise lead to cube action from your opponent and mainly double/passes. Conversely he will not be making plays that allow you into d/p territory.

When the cube is in the centre, both are true. i.e. either you or your opponent have double/passes, so while you must play to avoid these sequences, he must also.

Having said all that, I don't really understand the maths of double and/or redouble take sequences. Can someone help?
