On the left, Blue has 3 builders trained on 1 open point. On the right, Blue has 3 builders trained on 2 slotted points. Which configuration will close the board more quickly?

Unless noted otherwise, when the table below reports that Blue will have a 5.5pt board, his 2pt is the open point. With the exception of the roll 21, all 5.5pt boards have two remaining builders in direct range. When Blue’s next roll is 21, the position on the left will leave 3 builders targeting an open 2pt, while the position on the right leaves a slotted 2pt, with 1 builder within range of a direct shot. The other builder is 7 pips away.
