I wouldn't lift. A gammon loss would be unpleasant, but not lifting is strong after a fan, and I'd like to redouble. After 5/3 I think Blue's at least a turn or two short of a redouble. And if lifting is wrong, I'd play bar/19/17*. Bar/19* 14/12 gives 7's to cover but that's all, so 6/36 numbers. Bar/19*/17 gives 9's -- 5 numbers, plus 6-6 and 4-4, for 7/36 numbers. It also gives many more ways to get two direct cover numbers next turn.
