As a matter of curiosity, though it may be best answered by the director -- however, others here doubtlessly have an idea; what are the UK tax ramifications of such winnings? Being an American, I know, or can easily find out, the legal ramifications of such winnings from the US government perspective. However, with such a tournament in the UK, and with such large prizes, would an American or a Japanese player, as examples, be subject to any UK taxes on the 'income'?
