1. I suspect that White loses too many gammons to take this recube, but let's see how many blotting rolls Blue has: 66 55 51 33. Only 5. White could of course win even if Blue doesn't blot immediately; Blue could fail to escape, or White could hit Blue as Blue tries to bear in. I'm still passing, though. Doesn't look TG since the few bad exchanges are really bad. D/P.

2. White is anchored so a closeout is impossible, but attacking still looks like a strong game plan. 21/18*/13 seems too timid; I'd play 8/3* and then decide whether to hit a second blot or make the 3pt. Not sure but I think I prefer making the 3pt and not leaving so many blots lying around. 8/3* 6/3.

3. We start with 5/1* of course. I'm eyeing the cube. 10/7 gives us a direct cover for the ace point but risks White's joker 43 or 61, and 8/5 also gives us a direct cover for the ace point but risks White's joker 64 or 44. 8/5 looks slightly better to me. The other possibility is 24/21, minimizing shots and trying to get our checkers around. I think we can afford to be more aggressive than 24/21 so I'll try 8/1*.
