1. RD/T
Blue doesn't have much chance of a gammon but white certainly does If blue doesn't roll a 6 in the next 2 rolls. 51 is blues only really bad roll next roll. Even if blue rolls a 6 in the next 2 rolls however it's not a certainty that he can get his checker home.
Even money to hop the fence in 2 rolls .
I see 2 games that play out from here. 1. Blue crashes about half the time and of these white wins 70% of the time with 25% gammons when he wins. Blues gammons are about 10%
2. The other half of the time blue rolls his 6 and wins 80% of the time with 10% gammons and White wins 20% of the time with 25% gammons
This nets out to 55% Blue 45% white RD/T. Over the board I'd play both sides wrong.
2. 21/18* 18/13
The only thing that makes sense to me after staring at this is that I blue wants to race. Blitzing and priming aren’t going to work. I'm torn between the passive 21/16/13 and 21/18*/13. I'm going to hit just because it locks in the race.
3. 10/6 5/1*
I'm not playing 10/7 24/20 despite the great duplication of 6's
Blue needs to get his rear checker moving. Hitting either helps win the race or buys some timing either way it keeps white from half a roll
