I recommend never allowing people not to use cups, baffle box or not. If you want to make a dice switch to loaded dice (and then swap them out again) it is so much easier if I'm holding the dice in my hand the entire time. If I have to put them back in the cup any suspicious activity not returning the dice directly to the cup can be noticed.

Baffle box or not, they don't thwart loaded dice.
