Baffle Box Video

In Los Angeles, we have been using baffle boxes for over 40 years. I prefer using baffle boxes to just cups and prefer to use cups in conjunction with using the box as we do in Los Angeles. However, it is a myth that baffle boxes prevent cocked dice, they don't. Another drawback to the use of baffle boxes is that they encourage some players to power roll literally slamming the dice into the box. Oftentimes, the dice end up flying accros the room. Sometimes, it is not readily evident if both dice went into the box or if one of them bounced out. In many cases, you will see a player put the dice into the box and simply reroll implying one or both dice didn't go through properly. Usually, no one says anything when this happens because they assume the player is honest. But I have known players to take advantage of this and reroll when the dice are not favorable. So even though I am a strong proponent of baffle boxes, caveat emptor.
