Two suggestions

In Response To: Ustream live announce, 10 March 19:30- (PST) L.A. time (kinchan)

I want any comments about my ustream live

Here you go:

Let me first say this was the best backgammon stream I ever watched. You have good equipment and your Internet connection must be very good.
I had no problems watching it. (Once there was a problem with a stream from USA - European watchers had some problems; now there was no problem)

And now couple suggestions:

1. Please post streaming time in UTC (Coordinated *Universal* Time), not in some American local time. (or post *both* American and UTC time) This goes to American streamers also.
I know I'm in UTC+1 time zone, and I'm sure everybody could remember in which UTC zone are they.
But every time somebody posts in PST, EST, etc. I must Google it to find what time UTC is that.

2. Dice visibility was very good, both in full-screen and in the original window. But I think it can be further improved by lowering the camera or zooming in.

There was much 'wasted' screen space around the board so I've made a little experiment. I've put clock and scoreboard on the board, and zoomed in. Here are the results: link.

First picture is the actual video. Second one was the 'important area' - all outside that is unimportant (when you move clock and scoreboard closer as in third picture).
Third picture is the original video vs 'zoomed in', both scaled to same size. I think the improvement is noticeable.

I'll repeat - this was the best backgammon streaming I ever watched! Thank you for making this possible!

It will be perfectly fine if you keep everything as it is now, but in my opinion (and I'm sure there will be guys who appreciate that 'wasted' extra space), lowering the camera and making playing surface appear bigger on the screen would even further improve watching experience. br/
