Ah, so besides the no-anchor yes-hit option, Blue can anchor and play safe, or anchor and hit, Comparing the anchoring plays, either Blue contents himself trailing by 6 pips 130-136, or gets a third checker sent back immediately 19/36 of the time (and of course succeeds with pushing his offense forward in some part of the other 17/36 ... and in some part of the 19/36 ...).
