I learned something here. My eye looks for tempo hits when my opponent needs two numbers to make a point and not when she needs a single number to cover a blot. I tend to forget the defensive points. And, I generally don't stop to count. I believe this concept is covered in your book, isn't it? Looks like I better get it out again.
