The automatic play is 16/13 8/2 - safety the blot and slot another homeboard point.

The thing is, the blot on the 16 is not in any danger - will white actually want to hit it? (granted 63 will force a hit, but that seems much worse for white than for blue). And for that matter, all sixes other than 66 play poorly for white as long as the blot is still there and her board is in shambles.

So I'm going to leave the blot right where it most annoys white and look for another play. I like the way 44 plays poorly as long as the 11 is held, so I won't touch those checkers either. 8/2 6/3 is the other option I'm seeing - having two blots in the homeboard takes some of the sting out of white's bad rolls, but those blots should get covered soon so it's worth the downside.
