OTB, I'd probably hit without thinking about it - not that I'd advocate this, it's just a bad habit of mine.

But if blue eschews the hit, he's up by nine pips with 8 transitions to go and most likely has a strong cube. Hitting either loses the market, or blue gets whacked back (or big doubles by white allows her to get back in the game)

So, I'm going to waltz by with 14/12/8 and probably turn the cube next roll.
