I am able to make XG perform many strange 'tricks'. I can get it to put the opponent's checkers on top of my own, make it displace checkers off points, have one or no dice showing, create new colors of checkers, etc... Here is one screen shot as an eg.
The way to do most of this is have XG play out a position against itself and then interrupt it by pasting a position over it while it's playing the position out. It will basically confuse it and you'll see some entertaining results. As for different checker colors if you change the user on your computer and let it idle for a while (usually I'm also running rollouts if that matters) then when you turn it back on and reawaken the computer often the XG screens will have transformed into some spectacularly shiny colors.
