The position came up in a chouette. Our captain played 22-11 and I said that he must hit before anything else, and then consider the 4. The others thought it was nuts to hit and I had a bet with one of them on the play. I just thought that it was one of those positions where you simply increase your gammon wins without losing any corresponding single game wins. I was completely wrong.
