Thoughts on publishing transcriptions ?

In Response To: 2012 Osaka Open — XG transcription of Terao vs. Cameron (Taper_Mike)

This is out of curiosity only and I haven't really made up my own mind on this, but the increased number of events that are being livestreamed and saved for replay (thanks to those who spend time and use their setup to make it possibly to follow events from all around the World openly!) begs the question: What do people consider proper conduct wrt. publishing match transcriptions ? Is the answer dependent on level of play, whether or not you include bot analysis, other factors ? I am too lazy today to find old subthreads on this.

If consensus is that is it is ok to publish without acknowledgement from the players, who are the only ones I care about on this issue, it would be nice to have a central repo here on bgonline.
