I've been thinking lately that by the third move there are plenty of situations where the cube should be turned (money games -- match play would be too cumbersome perhaps) and it would be handy to have those situations in print.

Move 4 is where the cube comes into play. I've also done a lot of work with this and agree there should be something in print. To my knowledge they have no plans to include any cube decisions esp. what you're talking about.
