Thoughts on publishing transcriptions ?

I personally think that if there is a public broadcast of a match than it then belongs in the public domain. The video itself doesn't necessarily but the game yes. This is like a box score in baseball. You can not rebroadcast the game but I can listen it on the radio or watch on TV and score the game and use those statistics for analysis publication etc. I do not see how this is different from a box score. You could make a video that imitates the baseball game but it would by rather dreadful to watch.. fortunately checking out a match in XG is much more enjoyable.. but baseball on the radio is still great.
