Thanks, Nack, for teaching us all how to do Nactation! If I can nactate at all, it is because of your guidance. Now, if I could only play backgammon a little better...

Our Nactations of Game 2 crisscrossed. I was busy writing, while you were posting. Help me out, though, with this question from your’s.

 '2X2X1X '4X2O1X ' '1O '

 ' '2O1O2X3O '2O '2O2O3X

...63$-31

Nack: [Another] possibility is H (Hit), which utilizes the more points convention for patching in the other half of the play (17/14).

Strictly speaking, I have H = 18/17* 14/11. It rotely follows the rules of the H (Hit) family. After hitting, it finds the best way to play down under the Hit/More/Six Rule.

I don’t have a big problem with using H for 18/17*/14, but my understanding is that doing so invokes assumptive Nactation, rather that the More Points Convention (as you state in your post).
