Blue, holding a 2-cube, trailing 7-away 3-away, in a mutually gammonish and volatile position with many market losers, should be itching to redouble, giving White a dead 4-cube, if Blue is in his doubling window.

No double	lose single	-> 7a2a	-> 16% ME
double	lose	-> 7a0a	-> 0% ME
No double	win single	-> 2a4a	-> 33%
Double	win single	->3a4a	-> 57%

Redoubling risks 16% ME to gain 24% ME

R/(R+G) = 16/40 = 40%

And that's not even factoring in Blue's gammon wins.
