Ken, I suggested the dummy clock idea over 16 months ago, in my second post. No one seemed to speak positively about it. Guess the fact that few players knew me didn't help. (They probably still don't!) Happened to mention something about the baffle box in it. Rare that for me.

Clock or not, would be good to have the right to insist on sharing one pair of dice, for all the obvious mechanical reasons Jason and others have discussed. A double tap - two taps in quick succession - on any part of the board could signal the player ending his turn.

Footnote: Has the baffle box/dice tube preference rule at the Durham/Chapel Hill club increased attendance, reduced it, or made no significant difference?
