41$-44 Nack published the following up-to-date Nactations of 41$-44 in the thread containing Neil’s most recent XG2 4-ply rollout. Previously, assumptive Nactation gave 44D = 24/20*/16* 13/9(2), and 44P = 24/20*/16* 8/4(2). The very reasonable assumption was that you wanted to hit twice. Current Nactations do not require assumption. Thus, 44B = 24/20*/16* 13/9(2), and 44C = 24/20*/16* 8/4(2). Because the P (Point) family now includes a Dedication Clause, all parts of a move nactated P must be used in making a single new point. Thus, by the Hit Convention, 44P = 24/20*/16*(2). In practice, this move is more commonly nactated 44R. Nactations of 41$-44 Nactation Traditional Notation Note B (Both) 24/20*/16*, 13/9(2) In the B (Both) family for doublets, the ratios Far:Down:Jump:Inside = 2:2:0:0. By the Hit Convention, hitting twice outranks hitting just once. b (Both) 24/20*(2), 13/9(2) Even when you make a point, hitting once does not rank as high as hitting twice. The only exception comes when you make a point in the inner board. C (Cross) 24/20*/16*, 8/4(2) In the C (Cross) family for doublets, the ratios Far:Down:Jump:Inside = 2:0:2:0. By the Hit Convention, hitting twice outranks hitting just once. c (Cross) 24/20*(2), 8/4(2) E (Each) 24/20*/16*, 6/2(2) In the E (Each) family for doublets, the ratios Far:Down:Jump:Inside = 2:0:0:2. By the Hit Convention, hitting twice outranks hitting just once. e (Each) 24/20*(2), 6/2(2) R (Run) 24/20*/16*(2) In the E (Run) family for doublets, the ratios Far:Down:Jump:Inside = 4:0:0:0. At least one checker must land somewhere between the 13pt and 17pt. S (Split) 24/20*, 24/16*, 13/9 In the S (Split) family for doublets, the ratios Far:Down:Jump:Inside = 3:1:0:0.
