OT: longest commercial flight

According to a recent U.S. News & World Report article, there are longer flights. For example, Newark to Singapore is over 10,000 miles and takes over 18 hours. Just now I went to the Singapore Airlines website to see if this flight is really offered, and it is—but it isn't cheap!
