I like shortcuts myself, except when they end up being longer and wronger ;-

Any number which contains an ace or a deuce doesn't leave a shot

After 5/off 5/4, 61 and 51 blot.

Any combination of {4,5,6} leaves a direct in either case

After 5/off 5/4, 6-5 6-4 and 5-4 don't blot.

-> 2 fewer blotting numbers after 5/off 5/4 for these 29/36 rolls, plus the one greater number in the other 7/36 rolls -> 1 less immediate shot after 5/off 5/4.
