A difficult choice here ! I'd love to hit and it rapes Stick if he can't hit back or we double hit from the roof. However, we are the ones bent over if we dance at some point during the hitting contest.

Lets say that we don't hit. Stick will probably make our bar pt, but we have a big race lead, a good collection of forward points to come home to, some builders, and Stick isn't too flexible and cannot easily make a rather pure and threatening home board.

This means to me, that we probably shouldn't hit. If we don't hit, two plays stand out as likely correct. 17/12 15/13 leaves only 1 blot and is a very good choice since Stick's only hit that probably doesn't land him at BK, is 55. However, Stick usually makes our bar pt and then that builder on the 12 pt isn't very useful.

Perhaps the wimpy 17/15 13/8 is better ? This leaves two stripped outfield points, but we can just play from the 15 pt with little danger or we may roll something to clear the mid after Stick makes our bar pt. If we have to blot soon, Stick's board is far from ready to crush us. The added builder on the 8 pt is useful in attacking inside our board as well.

OK slight pref for 17/15 13/8 and note that Stick may roll poorly and not make our bar pt.
